driven by the philosophy that every great design needs great programming, i
invite you to take a walk up my alley and get to know me better.
Born in a small city from Romania
In the same year I was born, a lot of stuff happened: the domain apple.com comes online, Microsoft and IBM release OS/2 1.0.,
Microsoft introduces Windows 2.0, but most important of all Whitney Houston releases the song "I wanna dance with somebody".
I mean...this is not just a coincidence, believe me! When I hear this song I just can't sit down...it's madness! Anyway...
Well... certainly my birth was not a usual one. You know, when the family sees the baby they start saying things like: "He is soooo cute"
or "Look how small he is", well, when I came out they said: "He clearly will be a web developer". You may ask yourselves why? Because since
then I was moving my fingers like I was having an invisible keyboard in front.
Technic college for me
Of course, I got my first PC when I was 8 years old but, but in the early years nothing spectacular happened.
For sure, things started to move in high school. In the first day of high school, my info teacher got in the class room and said:
"Today we'll start learning Turbo Pascal...and God knows when we'll finish".
The info classes were interesting when I was not on the football field. Football was an important part of my life in those years.
I was in tournaments in Belgium, Austria, Germany, having a great time on the ground.
Learning Turbo Pascal finished in the same time with high school.
But it is said that when one door closes another one opens, and let me tell you: this is true!
In the same year I've started to attend the IT classes of the Faculty of Informatics.
Faculty of Computer Science
Over the next three years I've learnt the foundations of programming and some programming languages such as C, C++, C#, Java or PHP.
It was not easy, but you know how the student life can be: one moment you are losing your head trying to learn for the exams, and in the next moment the exams disappear and you go out with your buddies having a good time together.
Anyway, this was the time when I truly started to understand that I was going to be a WEB developer and I've worked hard to be a pretty good one.
And in my last year of college I got my first part-time job as a junior programmer.
Master Courses in Negotiations and PR at the Faculty of Economy and Business Administration
After I graduated college, I continued to improve my skills, and so I got a new job...
But after one year I've decided it's time to get a Master degree for Marketing, Negotiations and PR. This must have been a
good decision because, for two years, I've learnt about marketing, management, negotiations, international relations, and a lot of concepts that made me see the things different.
Now I get in touch with different people from all over the world making their ideas come alive.
I've always wanted to make things work, to put in motion the static elements so every piece to achieve its purpose, and I did my best to get to know how to do this.
As you may have already read in the steps before it wasn't easy for me to get here but, currently, I provide complete solutions for Web Applications: Server Configuration, Database Design, Server Programming and Front-end Developing.
Now, I have to tell you that I like to hand-code from scratch each website and I assure you that my code will be easy to read
just as the daily newspaper is. I also take care of cross-browser compatibility and SEO in order for you to be satisfied.
Of course, before I'll start building your website, we'll discuss the details about what you need so that I can give you the perfect solution.
Well, if you want to get in touch with me feel free to move on and go to contact page.
Andrei is a wonderfully talented developer. He really just gets it. His coding is first class but he also intuitively understands usability and design.
Having dealt with many developers in the past, I used to always cringe as they would muck designs up, create silly bugs and then be a hugely tedious process to fix.
But with Andrei he almost always gets it first time, or otherwise quickly and accurately makes changes. He is supremely professional, but also very likeable as he
is such a friendly and genuine guy. He certainly never stops until you are 100% happy. So I would say Andrei is a rare talent and a pleasure to work with, and I
would recommend him to anyone.
Richard Fuessel, Client
This is a responsive e-commerce website built using Magento and the latest frontend technologies.
My plan was to get some exposure from launching a great portfolio website. I knew from the very start that by building a great design from the ground up,
with plenty of functionality features, would also require someone who could translate that design into code and bring it to life, without compromizing any pixels :).
That's where Andrei came in. He somehow manages to understand what you need your design to do, and he translates that into awesome working code. True story.
This was not my first project with him and certainly not my last :)
Razvan Garofeanu, Owner
Presentation website built using PHP core. It is responsive, it has a backend panel for administration purposes and it is very awarded.
Universal Music approached me with the task of building an artist presentation website, with fully controlable administrative features. Again, Andrei
proved to be on top of his game. Aside from the fact that frontend development turned out exactly how I imagined it, he also created a great backend
administrative module, providing exactly what the client needed, down to the tiniest of details. He's great!
Razvan Garofeanu, Designer
A very nice website built on a light PHP framework (developed by me, as well). All the user profiles, image, audio and video galleries are administrated
using a custom backend console.
